Reflecting on reflections

We can use reflections as supporting elements to enhance a scene or we can use reflections as the main element.

Reflections rely on a suitable reflecting surface like glass or water, since polarizers can interfere with reflections from such surfaces, they should be removed prior to framing the scene.


Here the inclusion of reflections gives more depth to the scene.


Here the reflections and colours are the central compositional elements.


The reflection is the image in this case.


Reflections can add another dimension to an image.
